Since I started using this again this summer the GPS accuracy is terrible. Won't register for the first 15 minutes of my run. Horribly inaccurate when it does start working. Did not have this problem previously with same phone. GPS works fine in other apps. Good for keeping track of my timing on regular routes though.
I used to be very happy with runkeeper, but in the past few months it's just not been working right. It doesn't track my correct distance (and pace, as a result), poor GPS signal, and it shuts off spontaneously in the middle of a workout almost every time. Is there any way you can help? I'm using it on a Xiaomi Redmi 4 pro prime.
App is great, but there are two features I really wish it had. First, it doesn't allow multi window mode. I, like many people, run with music. Very annoying to have to switch between apps whilst running. Second, like many others, I use Outlook. Outlook requires a lock screen, and you can't disable the lock screen without uninstalling Outlook. Which means I have to use my fingerprint to unlock to see my screen while running. Super annoying Runkeeper.
Worked with my other phones but seems not to be compatible with my oppo f1s. It shuts down after several minutes. Update: now i can't comment or love my friends runs. (Update)Was working fine already, but after the latest update, June 22, it had problems looking for gps. Finished my run n still it hasn't got any gps while sportractive and Samsung health was able to track my run.
Runkeeper for Android is so much worse than runkeeper for Apple products. The Android app lags soooo much!!! I've cancelled my subscription because it's so slow, takes forever to load! AN NO ITS NOT MY DATA SPEED!!!
I'm afraid I'm uninstalling. The gps just won't work consistently and that's throwing all other stats out. If that worked it'd be a useful and well designed app but without it there isn't much point.
Introducing a brand new Android Wear 2.0 experience! Leave your phone at home. You can now track a run with a GPS-enabled watch alone.
All stats tracked with your watch will sync with the app on your phone. That means you’ll be able to see mapped routes after you save.
