The tracking on this app has never been completely reliable. However over the last few updates it has become totally unreliable. The tracking fails consistently. It is therefore useless. There are many features that I like but without accurate tracking there is no point in using it. Since ASICS have become involved the app has got worse.
App is great, but there are two features I really wish it had. First, it doesn't allow multi window mode. I, like many people, run with music. Very annoying to have to switch between apps whilst running. Second, like many others, I use Outlook. Outlook requires a lock screen, and you can't disable the lock screen without uninstalling Outlook. Which means I have to use my fingerprint to unlock to see my screen while running. Super annoying Runkeeper.
Amazing app! Works great, easy to use and highly suggested. Please add - sprinting as an activity (my fastest times on running are from sprints so I can't beat them on normal runs), more motivation sentences from the voice coach and 'stiches' or 'cramps' on "what made this run feel bad"...
I used to be very happy with runkeeper, but in the past few months it's just not been working right. It doesn't track my correct distance (and pace, as a result), poor GPS signal, and it shuts off spontaneously in the middle of a workout almost every time. Is there any way you can help? I'm using it on a Xiaomi Redmi 4 pro prime.
Love the app accuracy and tracking features. A little glitchy, duplicates completed workouts after viewing in activities. Have to delete dups to hab e accurate miles. Update 6/27/17 - free app continues to be a benefit. Lowered rating because not compatible with Gear S3 watch/tracker, and not available for tracking with HealthyRoads. Running with S Health is much more enjoyable using the watch, instead of carrying my phone to use Runkeeper. Not sure why there is no partnership with Samsung, but this app is superior to UnderArmor's app and would make a nice integration with S-health. As a premier app, partnership with a premier provider would be a benefit.
The app is OK, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the custom training programs to include a warm up & cool down? Do you get to choose? If not, why not? It states that all my scheduled training sessions have both on the options, but then it just goes straight in to the 1st interval without warmup?
Introducing a brand new Android Wear 2.0 experience! Leave your phone at home. You can now track a run with a GPS-enabled watch alone.
All stats tracked with your watch will sync with the app on your phone. That means you’ll be able to see mapped routes after you save.
