Review from Anthony Syvarth
Update makes it great The original app felt like an iPhone port, this update makes it feel like a premium android app. Everything is faster and more accurate, plus updated tools and added tools. This is the best running app bar none.
Why so cloudy The conditions get a little cloudy and the gps keeps searching for my location. A lot of work needed there i believe
Not so good Keeps stopping after 1 mile
Accurate is the word for this app
Satellite issues Great app, however don't know if it is my phone "Idol 3 android" but most times it has a difficult time connection to the satellite. I live in a big city in Canada, so don't know why it can't connect. When it does connect, one of the best app if not the best. Would love to see you guys incorporate cycling trainings routines.
Runkeeper would be a great Android run tracker except that it has a bad problem with dropping stats and maps from runs after they have been saved to the website. These problems appear to result from trouble with the Android Wear component. After doing a factory reset of my watch, I thought the problem was fixed because no duplicate runs appeared on the website. But the duplicate runs still appear for most runs on my phone app. Whenever there are duplicate runs, the maps and stats for the run disappear from the website at some point and from the phone, also. This is obviously a serious problem because it is destroying all of the data for past runs.
Great app but... This is genuinely a great app if you want to track your runs. It tells you the time, the distance, you current pace, your average pace and much more. The only problem is that this is not the full version (you have to pay if you want to check a detailed analysis of your progress). Overall it is a really good app.
We added credit card scanning to make checkout in the Runkeeper Store even easier. We’ll need permission to access your camera and vibration settings.
