I think this app is great! It follows a certain system which a lot of people here in the reviews don't seem to understand. It let you prepare the same meal every day for a week and suggests something completely new the next week. For me this works great! It's the easiest way to stick to your goals. There's room for some improvements but I think it's very useful already. Actually, it's the most useful of all apps who try to do the same.
Some food groups could be thinned out like melons. I like watermelon but not cantaloupe. Ability to tell what foods you like and don't like. Meals can be broken down from 3 to 8 meals a day. The ability to save a copy of your meal plan as a pdf should be included with the full version, or charge seperatly from the packages.
Great but... I want 7 days menu and not only 1 day. In that case I need to change every day manually, annoying. Please add full week and then this app will be 5*
Frustratingly slow on Nougat, too small hitboxes for ui on fhd and small element settings, forgets and seems to ignore my own macro nutrients (maybe 25 protein 40 fat and 35 carb is illegal, but it seems to just ignore (not updating my meals after changes)). why do I need to press twice to save my forbidden foods, why is save on the left instead of on the right? (that cost me some clicks and repeated menuing). Why is there a save button in any place at all? Why can't I add ingredients to forbidden right from the meal plan, by long clicking it, forcing a new day plan? why does it generate a 7am meal for me, when I generate for first time at 2pm? Breaks my heart, so much potential. Will update review, if app improves (or sucks less).
Well thought out, simple to use, perfectly functional at a free level. Nice work!
I don't often write reviews, but this app deserved one. While I don't mind making my own meal plans, this takes the work out of it. Once you eliminate the things you don't want, it does a decent job of recommendations that you'd be happy with, & the grocery list gives me an attack vector for the grocery store. I just wish it would give grocery recommendations above 16 ounces in pounds (when using Imperial measurements) so I don't have to convert on the fly. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
* Can now tweak food amount in pro tweak to exact precision
* Updating meals no longer removes fats/side dishes to stand in goals
* Units of measure now more consistent through app
* Better PDF Template
* Several PDF Export issues
* Better wide screen display
* 12PM~ reminders
* Cancel edit on some screens would not display previous value
* Changing diet restrictions not updating food item options displayed in meal edit
* Several other minor bugs
