Holds you accountable. Easy to use, just scan bar codes or customize your food such as homemade almond milk or smoothies.also has thousands of pre entered items from chain stores, etc. I lost 7 stubborn pounds in 2 months!
Great app - easy to use and really helped provide info to make me aware of my food choices.
Lose It is a great tool to stay on track. Easy to enter foods - I tend to do the search feature - and I'd say 90% is pre-programmed in there so you don't have to work too hard to figure out calories on your own. What I love is that if you really use it, it helps you make smarter food choices. Way happier to enter an orange than an Oreo so I tend to eat the orange. Also, you'd be surprised how many calories you consume in a day. When you enter everything it sure points that out. So I'm eating smarter and eating less. Thx Lose It!!
Tldr- Lose It! is more streamlined, intuitive for the user, and more motivational. I love it so much more than MFP. I used myfitnesspal and lost about 12 lbs over several months. It was an effective tool but I didn't really love it the way I love this app. MFP was always pushing articles and content I didn't care about, plus it started hogging my phone's memory for no reason. With Lose It, the goals page tells you when you'll meet your goal, which is a HUGE incentive. I find that actually logging the meals is a little more intuitive and convenient. I can take a meal from yesterday and c&p the whole thing if I'm having leftovers.
(Free version) Easy to use. Love the scanning option for the nutrition labels. The goals section graphics are great visual reminders of how your current actions impact the timeline. Love that the calorie suggestions start at a realistic level and gets lower or higher to keep you in a healthy range. And, bonus! You can log workout calories burned, too.
I'm really liking this app. It's definitely helping me track my calorie intake and lose weight. I would really like to try the premium version but I don't want to pay for an entire year up front. It would be really great if there were a trial period for the premium version. I'm not really interested in paying for an entire year up front no finding out after a couple of weeks that it wasn't worth it. Let me know if this is an option.
No biggies this week. Just consider this official notification that you are awesome. Boom, update's over.
Stay in control and make smart and satisfying food choices anytime & anywhere.
