Great tool If you follow calorie recommendations, you will lose weight. I've lost a lot of weight in the last year. I especially love the patterns that this app shows you, like "you tend to consume fewer calories on days you eat sausage" or "if every day/week was like this day/week, you will reach your goal by 1/15/16." Very motivating!
Good but needs work I like it, especially being able to connect to my Pebble smartwatch via Google Fit and PlexFit. The main issue I'm having is that the food search rarely works and painfully slow. Fix that and I'll update my review. 07/22/15… the recipe creation screen stopped working in the past few days. Was working last week.
Good app. I keep coming back to it. I have used the app several times to get myself in gear. I also use fitbit for most exercise logging, but that app is not as easy to use with food input as Loose It is. They link very easily and work well together. "Calories in, calories out. Period."
Great app for keeping yourself or friends accountable. I'd really like to see a change in the way you denote exercise though. Having to measure discreet, countable exercises in minutes is really frustrating (5 minutes of pushups? Who measures pushups by the minute?). It would be great to see a numbering system rather than a time based system. It just makes so much more sense to say "30 pushups" than having to think "hmm. 30 pushups took me a minute, so how many would I have to do to get to 5 mins?"
Great app It's good and easy to use. I really wish it linked to a "nutritional info by ingredient" sort of thing, but I don't mind taking the extra step to look it up on my browser first. Usually. Also, the exercise options could be better.
Just follow it & LoseIt I have been able to loose more weight than in other time in my life. I started with small a goal and LoseIt gives multiple ways to motivate you to reach that goal. Kept setting new small goals to 70 pound weight loss. LoseIt is easy to learn and after a few weeks you will have most of foods loaded. It's quick and effective.
Fixed a bug with the Google Fit integration where steps weren't properly importing
