I have been using this app since Christmas and am really enjoying it. I like that there are quite a few free workouts to pick from that build on your input from previous workouts. I don't like that you have to save it to your phone when you do a workout, but if it means you can use out later workout cell service, that could be a bonus. I've used a handful of other apps for running and exercise and this one is one of my favorites.
Tried this free for a week, and immediately updated to a premium plan when I ran out of free sessions. Totally worth the money! If you're honest with your feedback, the progression to more challenging workouts is fantastic - super seamless and natural. It would be great to be able to sort sessions based on time, but at least that info is right up front. I hope they continue to add new exercises and types of workouts!
I can't sign in. I try to sign in with fitbit and it just takes me back to the sign in screen. So I had to make a separate fitstar account which, once I logged out, I can't get back into now. I get an error message. I was able to log in with fitbit once, somehow, but it keeps sending me back to the sign in screen screen again. I just want to have my fitbit and fitstar accounts linked and working together. And I'd also just like to actually be able to use the fitstar app.
Love this app! Has helped me get motivated and stay motivated with not the same thing everyday. I'm able to change up routines easily. Only thing is I wish it gave you the option for the videos to download on your SD card instead of using phone memory. Would give five star for this feature!
I tried this for a week so far and am liking it. I am debating moving up to a paid plan but it is a bit pricier than some competitors. What it does right is tuning a working based on your inputs, it seems to do a great job of that. Music is a little lacking but it seems like something of an afterthought. I would like better music integration. It does plan nicely in conjunction with the trainer's motivation. The trainer's actually put out good input to your workout while you are doing it. Give the free version a try, it is at least worth that much. Probably more.
UPDATE TO 1 STAR: Since today's upgrade can't get anything to work except music. Can't get the music to turn off. Nothing is downloading. ORIGINAL: Great exercises. Like the program. I wish their was an option to turn off the exercise descriptions on exercises you've completed already. For example, I shouldn't have to stand by my phone to skip or have to wait 13 seconds while someone tells me how to run in place. Especially if it's the second time I'm going to run in place in the same program. Also, I would love to see a 10 minute program that is just stretching. Not yoga, no squats or pushups, not wake up and get your heart pumping; just stretching. Something similar to Sworkit's full body stretch.
