I haven't worked out in over 3 years, since getting pregnant caused hip and pelvis pain. I never got back into it because it felt too hard to find a way to get to the gym. This app is coaching me back into it at my own pace! Since I am pretty self conscious at the gym, it is so awesome to have a tool that is THIS good at my disposal. I wish there were more free workouts, but, hey, it's awesome and much cheaper than a personal trainer!!
I love this! I HATE working out but with this app I've come to really enjoy it and look forward to it. I'm a mom of 5, so I don't always have an hour to work out. I can choose a workout that fits my schedule. Plus, they're tailored to me and my physical abilities. You rate each move; how long you were able to keep up, how intense or easy it was. They show you how to do the moves and give encouragement. It provides you with badges and keeps track of calories burned and how long you've worked out. And it syncs to my fitbit app. I just love everything about it!
It's the best app I've ever used for regular exercise. When I can't go out on the rain for a jog, fitstar comes to the rescue. Just one request- allow streaming the sessions as an alternative to downloading. Stream + download works best in moderately slow internet. Oh and the integration with Google fit and Fitbit is the best part of all!
Fantastic, Great app but the only problem is, I can only watch it on my phone which is so tiny. I tried to Install it on my big screen TV using Google Play with wifi but it tells me it's not compatible (what a bummer). Besides, I'm enjoying it, 5 minutes or 7 minutes workout works perfect for me after my running routine. Working on getting abs is such a hard work.lol
FitStar is the best fitness app I've found. If you workout at home or outside a gym, like I do, this is the app for you. It constantly adapts to your evolving strength. It changes up the moves to prevent boredom and predictability. The videos and verbal instructions are perfect. I am always dripping sweat after each session. The fitness programs are well worth the money. But the free videos are great too (I just don't think there free version adapts to your personal skill level, but it does gather the necessary data to allow you to jump right into a program at your current fitness level).
This ap is amazing! It includes instructional videos that fit my schedule perfectly, and the coaches give you motivation! They have a multitude of workouts tailored to your body! They have a huge variety of workouts from practical, to hard core with varying lengths and difficulties. It tells you how many calories you burn doing the workout, and you can set goals for yourself. It automatically updates to fitbit devices, so you get information on how well you are exercising!
