Brilliant I have an S4 Active, which is devoid of a flashlight widget (its physical activation can be troublesome). So, I wanted a lite, free substitute w/ out ads. After testing a couple others, I found this one. The icon is nice, & when off, the gray conserves battery. The icon itself looks tribal & actually blends into my wallpaper. I'm very pleased. I'm also glad there's a notification in the Status Bar when on, similar to Samsung's 'Assistive light'. There is some lag turning it on, but that's negligible. Kudos.
Does exactly what it should This app is near perfect. It is a simple button that turns the flash on or off. No weird, spyware-like permissions required as with many of the other flashlight apps, no ads, just functionality. Gotta love it. The only quibble is that depending on your screen background, the icon can blend in.
Waaaaaah... Used to be basic and reliable, now will not work at all - neither locked nor unlocked. Do I uninstall it immediately, or give the over- active programmers a chance to undo whatever they just did? OK, it's partially back. Now works when unlocked, but not visible from any lock screen.
Crashes my Nexus 4 This widget has constantly crashed my phone for as long as I can remember. Hated to do it but I finally gave up and removed it for now until the bug(s) are worked out. No other app has caused this issue and it definitely only happens when using this one. :-(
Love it! Thank you for a number of reasons. 1) It works on my Hisense Sero 7 Pro tablet. 2) Your app is quite small. 3) You can turn off your display and the camera flash stays lit so you're not blinding yourself with the screen.
As simple as can be! But..... At first i couldn't get into the app but then I read it's a widget... Just find your widgets and put it on the screen. Boom. Just an update, started glitching out and happened very often... Had to delete it.
