A really good idea. Having checked out entries for my local area they all seem sound. However the app could benefit from a search option, so you can check out what's around when you are visiting an unfamiliar area. That would make it very useful.
It's a nice little app, but could do with a tweak to the map display (resetting to all of the UK each time you go back isn't entirely helpful) and some of the forests are listed in the wrong place. I was deeply saddened when it turned out Paradise Bottom was actually near Bristol and not Farington Gurney.
A good idea with lots of useful info but the actual app needs improving. A postcode/GPS search for forests in local area is a must and as someone else mentioned the map resets to the whole country after you've looked at the details for a particular forest meaning you have to locate your local area again.
Not much in Yorkshire but found a wood nearby which I'll explore as I'm new to the area. App is very slow to load, ironically Commission is misspelled on the loading screen :)
It's pretty good, a very good idea in fact, but it just needs a search function rather than scrolling endlessly down the list of forests and a full screen map option too. OK, useful, but needs work still.
Handy but would be nice to filter forests that have your interest (running/cycling trails) also filter by grades would be great.
