This app was so solid for 2 years and I even bought this paid version (on my Motorola and Samsung phones). Now with the last few updates it is pretty much useless. Photos are bad quality, dark, out of focus. Constant serious crashes that lock up my phone. Seems like there's no quality control or testing being done with the updates. I have fallen back to using the stock camera app until I can find an alternative or until this is fixed (not looking likely).
Hey guys! Great app! I mostly use it to get the raw picture (dng) and a minimum of manual control. It's perfect for a phone camera! And a little post processing gives my photos a new life (either directly on mobile, or later on a computer). I miss the ability to disable the jpeg output though, when raw is enabled, it mostly just clutters the whole picture library. Anyway, great job! Keep it up!
Please work on unsupported devices and sony devices 'cuz the performance is somewhat worst among all camera software. Please support sony's iso 12800 Please work on incompatible raw-capture-able devices. Also this app still needs manual setting of shutter speed not by touch metering
This review is on a Samsung S7. Loading and snapping a picture is slow and switching from the rear to front camera completely freezes the phone requiring a hard reboot via the recovery menu accessed by holding the power and volume down button. Very disappointing.
I hate giving this app 3 stars rating, when it worked very good in the past, without complaints but I must, in order to point out one somewhat major flaw. The app does not want to save pictures taken to SD card. I went out of my way and reset the location each time after I launched the app, but to no avail. The video app from you guys works perfectly, only the camera app has this issue. I will change mu review when this is fixed. Sony Xperia Z ( C6603) with Android Lollipop ( 5.1.1).
It's pretty good as a camera app, there are a few issues though. My biggest gripe is that when you select the video option it doesn't allow you to select the Cinema FV-5 app and the standard Samsung camera goes to camera mode, leaving only the Google camera in video mode.
- Improved: revamped multilanguage support. Now region-specific languages are shown and used. When available, multiple scripts are also supported (for instance, cyrillic and latin for Serbian).
- Fixed: app crashing on the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge after updating to Android 7.0.
- Fixed: issue with the custom storage folder not being taken into account after being changed.
- Improved: autofocus performance on continuous mode.
