Great app. Has all the settings I want in easily accessible places. The only problem I've found is that it reveals just how cruddy the camera on my old S4 Active is. Not that this is the developer's fault, of course.
Great options, but unstable. Great manual control, but interfaces horribly with messaging apps. For instance, causes my S4 Lollipop to black screen fatal crash when taking landscape images from Google Hangouts. Had to pull battery to restore. Wtf?
Fantastic app if your hardware supports it. On some devices this app gives you full control over the camera settings. This makes it great for taking difficult and unusual shots (like night time, long exposures, very quick shutter speeds, etc). Make sure your device is supported before you buy. If you have a OnePlus device and you're into photography, I highly recommend this app.
Stops shooting at photos at random times When I'm trying to take photos it simply doesn't shoot in S mode and I've been through all the settings. Sometimes it works to force close and reopen the app, sometimes not. Focus symble stays red and doesn't do anything even though conditions are great. Would be good while in manual mode, if the camera would remember what ISO I've chosen, it goes down to 50 when I switch between apps. I did comparison between this and the S6 camera and this one lacks all the S6 camera details. Feels like 5mpx detail wise.
Contends with stock Sony cam, until full camera control is released Someone mentioned that after trying so many camera apps - even the really good paid ones - you always come back to Sony's stock app. Why? It's not necessarily better, but more consistent across different scenarios. This one is good, IF you don't mind paying for something marginally better. Marshmallow should fix that, though. UPDATE: this app let's you do some things stock doesn't, which makes taking pictures in difficult conditions easier and turn out better. Try it!
Poor support for S6 Bought the full version to unlock RAW support and higher resolutions... App has bug in focusing. Even with option to take photos without focus checked, app refuses to take photo and focus is then broken even when moving to bright conditions. Only way to "fix" is by restarting the app. Tried uninstall/reinstall to fix problem but somehow it refunded and after reinstall I've lost my option to actually refund. I want my money back.
- New: more manual controls for the OnePlus 2 (manual shutter speed up to 30 seconds, manual focus and live exposure time and ISO display on the screen).
- Fixed: problems with the virtual shutter button in burst mode on some devices.
- Fixed: the app now correctly returns the picture to calling apps like Hangouts.
- Improved: the resolution indicator now supports displaying resolutions up to 32 megapixels.
- Fixed many other smaller issues.
