Pity, it looks pretty good and has a lot of promise. Samsung S7, Android 6.0.1 Checked the system requirements and purchased the recorder for my holiday. All that FV-5 recorded was a still image and a X minutes of audio. Pretty disappointed. Contacted developer & no response several weeks later..
I would actually really like to make use of this app but there are some limitations that are holding it back. Most notable for me is the lack of control over shutter speed, but in addition to that the audio quality recorded even with an external mic is severely lacking. Maybe it'll be worth a look in the future, but for now I have to pass. Keep up the good work.
I love the controls this app has, better than any other video app I've used, especially built in apps. But lately the app has generated corrupted video or pauses recordings in the middle of recording for no reason missing critical moments. A reinstall did not fix it, and no other video apps had problems. I'm sorry to say I must give up this otherwise wonderful app.
Does Not Work Unlike its cousin Camera FV-5, this app does not work at all. It crashes when you press the Red recording button. Changing the settings do not help one bit. Error: "The recording could not start. The current configuration......" You then have to restart the phone. Due to Camera FV-5 I had high hopes with this but this is just a terrible terrible app.
Not worth it Free versions of an apps are meant to check the app and support before buying the paid-app. If it's collapsed within 15 mins after downloading and there is no support behind why any idiot will think to buy even 2.5$ app. No matter how wonderful the features are. Don't waste your time even on free version, move to the next app in a list asap.
False Description This is their explaination of the lite version: " The Lite version is a fully-functional version without any time or feature restriction: it just limits the maximum length of the individual clips you can record. Please acquire the paid version to remove this limitation and record clips of any length." Yet they do not allow you to change to the highest quality video unless you pay.
- New option in Settings/Audio to disable the AGC (Automatic Gain Control) algorithm for audio recording. This might help to record audio with less noise on quiet environments, if the internal sound card supports this.
- Now it is possible to start/stop the recording by using a hardware camera key, a Bluetooth remote shutter, or special hardware keys like the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active's Blue Key.
- Fixed issues with rooted devices not being able to write videos to the SD card.
