Overall: Pretty nice. Very clean UI, not trying to look fancy, I don't really use the smart mode, but I can see why some people would. Photo organisation is pretty good, and the moments are a nice touch. But the ads. Urgh. I mean, come on! Ads on a gallery app??? If you want money, try something like patreon that so many other devs have been successful on.
Strongly advise you not to get this app. It will mess your photos up if you try to edit them! It's not very good at organising them to start with... it jumbles them all up and gives their date as 1970... erm, mobiles weren't even around then! To make matters worse it's linked with Google photos and corrupts them too. Luckily I had other back up, or I would have lost some precious photos permanently.
I want to rate 5 star as soon I use this apps cause I feel so excited but then a few minutes later, I had problem with moving the pictures. I pick selected pictures and then it is disappeared. I have to reselected it all over again and it was so annoying. Sorry, would not recommend.
I wanted to love this app because it should fill the hole left by Android not having a gallery and images keep getting lost and buried in the directory structure. The only thing is that it doesn't always display images promptly when they're saved to the phone. I get an mms image via text and save to my Pixel phone. Then I open the Gallery app and the image isn't there, sometimes not showing up for half an hour or more. It's like it's not scanning the directory often enough. The biggest problem is I've written for support 3 times on this issue with Zero response from Flayvr.
I've had this app on my various phones. However, advertisements have been added. I don't understand why this change has been made. Also, you can create albums BUT there is an ALL album that has every picture grouped under all. That's unnecessary. You don't need two copies of every picture, camera photos, Facebook photos, downloaded photos, Pinterest photos, RIDICULOUS. It takes up twice the memory. It offers an opportunity to pay $2.99 to get rid of the advertisements. WHY should I have to pay? The latest August update has moved the trash can! You used to tap a picture and tap the trash can. Now, you tap the picture, tap the 3 dots ar the top right ABD then select "delete from screen". REALLY? Why is it better to tap 3 times when you could just tap 2? I want the trash can back!
With as many intrusive ads as this app has I expected a functioning app. It showed a checkerboard of pics in my downloads and after a reboot it's the same thing.
Housekeeping release: many bugs fixed, Facebook sharing updated. Thanks for using our app ❤️ 😊
