I have just renewed my plan with Flexiroam after a using it for the first time. I must say that initially it was clunky to set up, but once up and running it really is excellent. But beware, if you have data left at the end of your, you must purchase a similar plan & amount to extend its validity. On a really positive note, the companies online help is probably one of the best I have encountered anywhere. It's fast and with knowledgeable folk dealing with you.

Paid around $30 for a Mexico e-sim (data only) for a recent trip to TJ. Set everything up, set e-sim as the primary, enabled international data roaming, etc. My phone never once got a data signal. It looks like maybe the e-sim was installed with the wrong default APN since it had "uk" in the name. Might have worked if I manually changed the apn but of course I couldn't look anything up since I didn't have data. What's the point of having this separate app if it gets the sim settings wrong?

In just one interaction, I spent 2 hours with tech support trying to set it up. It just does not work. They telling me to do things I had done multiple times before. Finally, the tech guy tells me, I must be doing something wrong, because it should work. I sent them screen shots every step of the way. The idea is fine, the execution, horrible. What a waste of multiple hours. Save your money, your sanity, your dignity.
