Good app but could be better Its a good app but the 2 main problems I have is, if I'm watching a movie and I stop to listen to music or something else then go back to the movie. It would start from the beginning. The second thing is you have to have good signal or no signal at all to get into the app. Alot of times my phone would have one or two bars and it would just keep buffering to I get more bars or no signal at all to get to my downloaded movies.
It's an ok app I don't like when I'm playing a movie it will suddenly buffer, even if I'm 2 feet away from my wireless access point. This shouldn't be happening which makes me think that flixster is cutting corners to save costs for streaming and downloading. The app it's self is good. I have no problems redeeming the movie codes from it. Just wish they didn't have a cap on their services.
Fan via my ultraviolet collection (and rotten tomatoes) Great having access to all of my digital copies wherever I am. Usually stream my movies through my Chromecast, which is seamless. Only complaint is that while all other Chromecast compatible apps allow for volume control on the receiving monitor, Flixster does not. Hope to see this resolved in the future. Love my portable movies!
A few issues 1. Not a fan of your rating request coming up after viewing. You're trying to grab app ratings based off of content watched. Also I have to assume giving this app 1 star but not being moved to this comments section has to violate some sort of TOS. 2. No lack of return support for content. If I leave midway thorough something I shouldn't have to start over when I come back. 3. when watching a series the next episode should auto play. 1 star cause the app didn't redirect to the store for an actual rating.
Just doesn't work A month or two months ago I was able to stream and download my movies but now after not using it for these one or two months it does not work I contacted the guys at Flixter (Who handled it well) but nothing they could direct me to help in anyway, it's just useless and will continue to be unused.
It's a Shame The only app I can use to watch my ultraviolet and universal digital copies and can't watch more than 10 minutes with this app before going into unending "buffering." My other apps stream movies and shows just fine so it's not my connection. Just this app on a Samsung s7 only a few months old...
