Well it looks OK, but you have to buy the full version if you want it to transfer to ipad as well, apple is the devil and makes it really difficult for you. Nice try though. And in reply to the developers reply to my original review the program works fine to facilitate the transfer. Ipad will not allow the transfer of a movie file and would not transfer a zip file.
After my USB port malfunctioned, I needed a way to transfer semi-large files from my PC to my phone and this app saved my life as it is VERY fast in transferring files. Strongly recommended. Super simple too.
Well... I bought the pro version and now wish I hadn't. it transfers large numbers of files fine using the zip file transfer, but when I try to use the individual file transfer from the pro version on these same files it reliably gives me a 'connection lost' error. they copy fine using something like esfilemanager, so don't blame my network...
Never failed me. If you use WiFi Tether make sure to give FastFileTransfer your hotspot name and the same password (and enable WiFi Tether in settings). This way you will have automatic connection and transfer as soon as devices are WiFi tethered. If you encounter problem with establishing transfer you may perform cache and data clearing (or reinstallation) - that will require providing name and password again - see above. If the app can not initialize then disconnect Tether or WiFi, get a file ready for transfer and then connect devices.
Best way to send files to and from my phone. Faster than USB. Probably less secure, but you should encrypt your data anyway.
This is the answer for those struggling with MTP connection via USB in my case from Samsung S6 edge to Windows 10 PC using Wi-Fi router. I had about 25Gb of photos and videos I wanted to transfer from my phone to the pc. I plugged in the USB cable and it was going to take about 36 hours! I paid the 50p for this App as I think they deserve it. tbh I don't know if I needed to or not but time is money and for 50p I just wanted it all to work. I would say break up your transfers into 5gb chunks to be sure this App is at its best. I did try a bigger one and it failed 80% of the way thru ... but 5Gb takes about 15mins and it's 95% reliable.
