ReverseTethering NoRoot allows you to share your computer's Internet connection with your Android device via a USB cable.
Use Android apps that require Internet in places where you don't have or are not allowed to have a wireless Internet connection!
Your Android device's Internet connection is slow and unstable? You've your Android device already connected to your computer for charging, file syncing or app debugging? Why not use your computer's fast, stable Internet connection on your Android device?

Important: Some apps do not recognize the reverse tethered Internet connection because they only check for Wifi or 3G connections. This limitation applies to recent versions of Play Store, Youtube, Gmail and others. If you find an app is incompatible with ReverseTethering NoRoot, please don't give my app a bad rating. It's not an issue of my app, but of the other one, so I cannot change anything about the incompatibility. Instead, please contact the author of the third-party app.

Please Note:
ReverseTethering is a network-related tool that requires access to the VpnService API for creating a virtual network interface that securely forwards network packets to the ReverseTetheringServer gateway on your computer via USB. This is what allows sharing your computer's network connection with your Android device, which is the core functionality of this app.

This app requires a free server application to run on your computer that can be downloaded here: http://bit.ly/RevTetServerW. The Java Runtime version 1.7 or later is needed on the computer. Depending on your system, device drivers may have to be installed.

Found it best application for "Reverse Tethering" purpose, without "Root" and also free of cost. This does, as it says. Just, the limit is that connection time limit is about 10 minutes after every 20-30 minutes (20-30 minutes to wait) and then again about 10 minutes. Just, Extent the time limit more than this for the users. Thank you, for the developer(s) of this best application/team.

Works fine even with Android 4.1. Unfortunately Google does not let us download the PRO version with less than Android 4.4. It is the only Reverse Tethering app, that I have found, that works below Android 5. Not all apps work with Reverse Tethering, then I try "mode 2", which sometimes solves it. I have had no problems using browsers with it.

Fantastic application. I am the developer of another Android app that communicates over the local network via WiFi to a PC server. If users ask how to use my app via USB I point them towards this application. All report excellent results. I also suffer from poor reviews from people that don't have enough knowledge to set up my app correctly. Why can't people just be humble and ask the developer for help in a nice fashion? As someone involved in networking on Android I am far enough away from the peak of Mt. Stupid on the Dunning-Kruger graph to appreciate the amount of work this application has taken. Believe me it's not trivial people. Curious why this is no longer available in my region (Australia)?
