Worth every penny. It's a great, highly customizable ebook reader with some minor annoyances: 1) When the chapter content is too long it forces some sort of internal chapterization, disrupting the text flow with fake chapter numbers (eg. [1/8]). 2) When a paragraph ends just at the end of the available vertical space it forces a line break, which cannot be removed through configuration. 3) Some books' internal formatting force black text even when using night mode, so the reader either has to stop using their internal formatting or switch to day mode. 4) It cannot group books by series, even if the required metadata is present. 5) The internal dictionary is actually an external, independent application which the user has to install manually (the language packages as well) and in my case has never been able to reference Wikipedia (in four different devices). 6) When it builds the library using content in an external SD card it references every item in the library to an absolute folder path which cannot be changed when moving it to other devices, so the user has to either use the internal memory always or rebuild the library for every device. 7) The Recent List was much better when it showed only recently read books. Now it feels cluttered. 8) I cannot remove background images. Other than this, as a heavy reader I would say this is one of the best ebook readers available for Android.
-2 stars because it's missing the ability to do a page search within a chapter and book. The seek bar is inaccurate and searching using percentages is both unintuitive and frustrating. Also, navigating using percentages had a 90% fail rate for me. My suggestion: allow swipe right edge of screen for fast page turning. Having the page number appear in the middle of the screen while fanning through the pages would be invaluable. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 with the latest version of Android.
The best book reader with the most format. Need I say more? Maybe that the customer service is also excellent. I really don't see why anyone would chose a different book reader unless their family member made it. I didn't know how to find certain features, I sent an email and got an answer with the solutions in less than 2 hours. Wow. Keep up the good work .
Literally the best reader. I used and tested this one for many months and it's vast customizability as well as its extreme amount of features which will fit everyone's liking after adjusting settings 100% convinced me. It also has a high compatibility with many different file formats. One of the best apps on the Google Play Store, overall, even counting in apps for other purposes. It's a master piece.
I love how Moon+ has all kinds of settings. Way too many Android apps don't allow even simple tweaks. In Moon+, you can read however you want by adjusting margins, font color, line spacing, page turning controls, turn on some blue light filter thingy for your eyes??, highlight text in different colors, arrange your books differently, set whatever cover art you want... the list goes on and on. It's a great program! UPDATE: Selecting Arabic text is a nightmare, though! And no DJVU support...
I think this is one of the best reading apps I've used, but it still needs some tweeking. Firstly, the settings are pretty confusing? I can't really figure out how to deactivate the page turning feature and use scroll instead. Also, I think we should be allowed to, like, connect the app to the merriam webster app bc that's what most people use for dictionary apps, and it's a hassle to go back and forth between the two apps.
