The best book reader with the most format. Need I say more? Maybe that the customer service is also excellent. I really don't see why anyone would chose a different book reader unless their family member made it. I didn't know how to find certain features, I sent an email and got an answer with the solutions in less than 2 hours. Wow. Keep up the good work .
I think this is one of the best reading apps I've used, but it still needs some tweeking. Firstly, the settings are pretty confusing? I can't really figure out how to deactivate the page turning feature and use scroll instead. Also, I think we should be allowed to, like, connect the app to the merriam webster app bc that's what most people use for dictionary apps, and it's a hassle to go back and forth between the two apps.
By far the favourite. Only one thing: dictionaries. I'd like a better/more choice. And for languages other than English, there isn't any choice if there is a dictionary at all. In any case it's the best app. One more: I tend to read books in epub in portrait and small documents in pdf in landscape. Every time I change the format, I have to change the orientation. It's a bit of a bother. If anyway there are separate settings for pdf, could there be a separate option for that too ? Thanks
I've tried almost all e-book reader available in Android market, nothing can compete with Moon+ Reader. But i missed the Ice-Cream/Jelly Bean era UI, where moon reader has unique UI, with sleek book shelf and main menu. Now, the UI is a copycat of Play Book, i don't like it. Also that, i am not a big fan of Blue, missed that grey simple colour. But still the best e-Reader though.
Brilliant app; probably the most robust eReader on Android. That's partially its flaw; there's so much tweaking of features required to get this app just the way you want it. For example, if I want to use the book library stored on my cloud account (without downloading and importing it to my device), I have to open the book on Gdrive, exit out, go to recent list, select book, select Add to Favorites, select category... and that's for every single book in my library and then on each device (tablet and phone). Conversely, on iBooks you can manage and organize your library once and the changes are stored in your account and appear on all your devices. It would be super if this app offered similar seamless functionality, but it's still well worth five stars and the devs seem like a dedicated bunch. Thanks!
Moon reader pro is excellent for reading content. I would give 5 stars for every aspect of this app except the ability to open footnotes. The level of difficulty involved in opening footnotes is comparable to passing a kidney stone- Excruciatingly painful and frustrating. The additional "feature" of tapping to turn the page makes this task (opening a footnote) nearly impossible. My wife purchased this app for me, and the frustration and grief from this app has turned our loving marriage into one of turmoil and strife. I got so frustrated using this app, i smashed my cell phone and had to purchase a new phone because my phone screen shattered. I will give 5 stars when moonreader pays me 782 dollars (the price of my phone) To summarize: Every other feature of moonreader pro: 5 stars. Footnote opening feature: 0 stars This feature is so enraging i am giving this app 1 star. Frustration level = divorce.
