By far the favourite. Only one thing: dictionaries. I'd like a better/more choice. And for languages other than English, there isn't any choice if there is a dictionary at all. In any case it's the best app. One more: I tend to read books in epub in portrait and small documents in pdf in landscape. Every time I change the format, I have to change the orientation. It's a bit of a bother. If anyway there are separate settings for pdf, could there be a separate option for that too ? Thanks
The best book reader with the most format. Need I say more? Maybe that the customer service is also excellent. I really don't see why anyone would chose a different book reader unless their family member made it. I didn't know how to find certain features, I sent an email and got an answer with the solutions in less than 2 hours. Wow. Keep up the good work .
Google Drive reading position and bookmark syncing has been wonky for a little while. As in, they don't sync the farthest/latest position and disregard bookmarks from device to device. Edit: Issue still not resolved, but rating upgraded to four stars due to swift response from developer regarding my issue. Edit 2: Reinstalling fixed everything. Kind of an annoying solution, but as far as troubleshooting goes, rather minor.
Been using this a long time. Used to like it. Not anymore! They just took away (again) the 'explorer' interface, and the 'library' interface just doesn't work with 500 books organized by rating and topic. Also, they still have not implemented the Android 5 & 6 security features to allow full capability from the ext'l sd storage.
Brilliant app; probably the most robust eReader on Android. That's partially its flaw; there's so much tweaking of features required to get this app just the way you want it. For example, if I want to use the book library stored on my cloud account (without downloading and importing it to my device), I have to open the book on Gdrive, exit out, go to recent list, select book, select Add to Favorites, select category... and that's for every single book in my library and then on each device (tablet and phone). Conversely, on iBooks you can manage and organize your library once and the changes are stored in your account and appear on all your devices. It would be super if this app offered similar seamless functionality, but it's still well worth five stars and the devs seem like a dedicated bunch. Thanks!
I hated this app but decided to persevere with it after my preferred reader's developers messed that app up right out of recognition! I'm glad I did - I "get" Moon+ now and appreciate the thinking behind its features.
