Finally found the reader I need, for language learning I now have several options to get a definition of selected text (as long as the PDF isn't still a scan image), and then add the definition as a note. Then, these notes (bookmarks menu) can be exported for creating a vocabulary list. Terrific! ! Oh Nooo, I can't save my annotations/markups back to the file because it's on the external sd card. Why not??? I can't keep all my pdf's in main storage. Annotations were a great distinguishing feature of Moon Reader. Please get this to work using the external card!!!
Nice app. Thanks for the hard work. I use it many times each day. Recommendations: 1. After a successful backup the message "backup successfully" is displayed. Looks like "backup successful" or "backed up successfully" will be a better way word it. 2. Can the notes be saved directly to an epub file? It is hard to use this app for a long-term projects because you can only access your notes using this reader. You cannot use it for work that requires using multiple epub apps. If there is a way to do it kindly show me.
Recently, I deleted my Google account, not considering all of my Android purchases I would lose upon doing so. And even though the apps remained on my devices after I did that, I still decided to repurchase this one because I'm a huge fan of this app. It's by far the best e-reader for Android devices, and well worth the asking price.
I've been using this app for around 5 years and I've never seen any considerable or apparent updates to any physical parts to the app itself. So, what gives? I also think this is a very stable app, and the best reader on the market. BUT! I would really like to see a box in the controller dialog that lets me set the text-to-speech pitch AND speed-and the ability to lock those settings into place-because I'm ALWAYS accidentally hitting it when I start or stop it reading. If you could do this one small thing, I'd give this app all 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Thank you for making this app, and your consideration!
This app can handle anything you throw at it! The level of detail and options are unbelievable. I never thought I'd get used to reading entire books on my tab/phone. You have device sync which makes it easy to read away from the house. Also an ETA till end of chapter (its awesome). It can even read the book for you. The only downside is the themes need some work, after some tweaking it can be really nice but defaults lack a little polish. **Suggestion: Make an auto day/night option!!!
Great app. I've been using the pro version for years with great success. I download from my alive library and sync between devices with G Drive. I wish it supported true black mode on my Pixel. About the only thing missing at this point. Previous point regarding true black. Actually, it turns out there is an Opacity setting in the Miscellaneous menu that was turned up. I turned it all the way down to 0 and true black! I assume this is a "bleed through" effect with regard to the background image? I didn't see any way to disable that, but the opacity set to 0 seems to do it. Thanks for a GREAT app!
