Great app, allows far more customisation than any other e-reader app I've tried. I've experienced only one bug, and it's pretty minor - when I switch away from the app without closing the book I'm reading, after a while when I open the app again nearly all UI elements become transparent, only some text and symbols remain (and within drop downs and options menus even the text is gone). This is easily fixed by closing and reopening the book, but it would be nice if it could be fixed.

Gone from excellent to... Since the recent update the 'add a shortcut to the Home Screen' does not work for me. When renaming a book it will now only save the publisher at the bottom of a shortcut; it will not allow me, as previously, to save a specific name for a monthly periodical that shows at the bottom of the shortcut eg May, June etc. Having said that, as I cannot get a shortcut on the home screen renaming is meaningless! Cannot sync across devices via Google Drive anymore!

This e-book reader has been around for a long time, but, despite having lots of great features, it remains plagued by bugs. Pros • Handles all ebook file types well • Very customizable • Text to speech functionality Cons • Unintuitive interface; minimal documentation • Reader goes dark at times for no apparent reason; only solution I found was to uninstall/reinstall • Backup to SD card doesn't work; app backs up to internal storage instead; ditto backup to cloud. Kind of defeats the purpose.
