Seems like I've tried every reader, and moon reader pro is by far my favorite. An issue with your latest update.... it lowers the brightness so far the page and menus aren't visible. It was fortunate I had set a button shortcut, or I wouldn't have been able me to get at the menu. First bug ever in over 3 years.
This is by far the best overall reader app. There are so many options. I know it is not mainly a PDF app. I use it often. Two things that stop it from being my main PDF app. 1. In reflow mode the words often all squish together with no spaces (I then use xodo). 2. On regular PDF mode with xodo I can write on the screen with my spen then scroll with my finger without changing settings. This is still the best for .epub books bar none.
Used to be great, now it's just full of bugs. My pdfs no longer turn properly in dual page mode, animations don't work, annotation on PDF don't get saved, moving lock don't work, no per book saving, I have to turn landscape mode on and off between reading ebooks PDF and ppt PDF. I tried Fbreader where everything works for me currently.
Since latest update moonreader stuck in bookmode and won't open to library. It goes straight to homescreen. App not useable right now. After prompt reply from customer service, I deinstalled moon reader pro and restarted my device before reinstalling the app. It worked but my bookshelf was emtpy and I had to import books again. Am glad that its working again. I really like this ebook reader.
Have paid version, love it, best app when working right, upgraded phone to Lg Stylo 2 plus Nougat, now i an old bug head returned. Can't return to library, same thing happened last time I upgraded OS and you fixed it. Nougats been out for almost a year should be working properly by now. Latest update: 8/25/17 Still doesn't return to stack after latest update, still returns to homescreen, nothing running in background, no new programs since problem started, deleted cache, rebooted, permissions off, and original theme
I find the several updates since I first got this app to have upgraded the functionality. I have not been able to find any other ereader program that will allow me to configure the program for a screen touch right to move back and a screen touch left to move forward (my ideal setup for one handed reading using my tablet) On a wish list I would like to be able to have two books or more books open simultaneously. Sometimes because I am in the mood to read an anthology and am in the middle of a rather heavy novel... other times because it is a reference edition for a rather large series (a universe reference). All in all, I find easily being able to configure my tablet to page forward with a tap to the left of the tablet good for one handed reading. Keep up the good work
