Great Browser Overlay I think the Flynx team has done a great job of pursuing their goal, however I see a but of room for improvement. I would really appreciate a button on the Flynx bar to open in Chrome without having to open the menu first. Or perhaps when dragging the bubble down to close the page, you could also drag up to another slot to open in Chrome. This would make it a lot more efficient to read in a full browser without fiddling around in menus. Looking forward to the future of this app. :)
Great, but needs some more features (1) Sharing to Pocket can be made easier by integrating it with the built-in save feature or adding an optional button for it. (2) Closing tabs can be improved. (3) Needs a couple of options to hide bubbles and/or header panel while scrolling down. (4) Most important: needs an option to reopen all bubbles from last session. It does not always give an option to restore bubbles from last session after a crash. (5) selecting text and then tapping on the selected text causes the app to crash.
Needs updating Looks like it hasn't been updated in a while, which is sad because I love this more than the other bubble browser apps. It's a lot a smoother.... when it works. Lately links have just been opening to blank pages that I can scroll up and down. And it's not the readability filter; I turn that on and off every bubble and still nothing. I have to send everything to Chrome to even see what is on the page. When it works, it's great though.
Best app on my phone I can't stop telling people about this app. It loads articles quicker because it blocks all the ads, although you can easily see the original page view if you want. It pops out like the bubble from Facebook messenger, so it makes browsing Facebook, Twitter and the Web so much easier. Highly recommend.
Awesome! If this was a paid app, I would have purchased it (though thank you that this is free) Link Bubble has two weaknesses, and this app nailed both. First you can browse on Flynx without the background app stopping its operation. This is very helpful when you play games for example that can be left on autobattle, while you still enjoy browsing. Second is that multi-bubble is supported without paying anything (ive already purchased Link Bubble pro). And all the more, Flynx runs reaaaaaaaaly smooth, both the browser and it's transition when opening or closing the bubble
I love the innovation this app brings. Too many times I've caught myself thinking "Oh, a link. I don't really want to tap on this because I don't want to interrupt what I'm doing." This app intelligently and quickly fixes this issue. I think using the floating feature in Android to utilize a floating browser that doesn't kill performance is great. My only gripe is that you can't browse to other pages from within.
