Review from Touchwood Tumbleweed
Works like a charm. Although I'm yet to find out how to 'bundle throw away' all the links I opened through Flynx though I find the default disposal of one by one, a good thing.
Now this makes browsing easy & let's you read through the articles at your own pace. I have a few suggestions though: (1) Would like the option of "pinch in to zoom" while reading. (2) Make the orientation of the reader adopt to that of the screen i.e. if I switch to landscape mode, the reader should too. (3) Options to have different bubble shapes. Hope the devs acknowledge this. New Update: 2.1.2 keeps crashing abruptly when scrolling. Need to restart the app to restore the links which were opened. Will reset the rating to 5 once fixed!
This app is awesome! Exactly what I was searching for for so long. Alas, I have slight annoyances with the app. I would love it if when your are in the Flynx side menu, it seems fitting that you may exit the app by tapping anywhere except the Flynx interface. This is not implemented! Messenger has made me feel this is a God-granted need, and it shouldn't be difficult to implement. Other than my issues, this app is amazing and what I was searching for. A-
So different to all other browsers. Pages load in background just open google app and click on all links you want, then just open flynx and view one by one instantly. It seems to block ads as well as flashing things. Just pure reading, i like it.
Superb. It still loads quickly eventhought my data plan has been throttled. Additional request; can you guys make an option for 'not to store anything on recent' or easy to say, option to goes incognito?
I love this app. It's basically a web browser that opens in bubbles. It has a reading mode default, so it's ideal for reading the internet and isn't very capable of doing more elaborate things, which they acknowledge and have a convenient button for opening in a different browser in case the page doesn't work right. A big feature I would love is saved groups of bubbles. Sometimes I will sit down to start a reading session and I'll open 10 or more bubbles at once and start reading. If that gets interrupted I'll just close all the bubbles and even tho I can go into the history I would like to be able to recover those 10 bubbles as a group. Great app!
Tried many floating browsers and this has the best UI and is the most stable. The problem is that if i set android nav bar to hide automatically (immersive) i cannot choose to open in 2ndary browser. It would also be very helpful to be able to blacklist apps like in Chromer.
