About this app

After Parrot's official abandonment of all its customers, we are the only ones bringing back support for the Bebop family! You won't find any other app doing this, because we have taken back into our hands the development of native library support and adapted it to the new Apple and Google operating systems. We are proud to announce the new working version of FlyToDiscover, currently the only app on the stores to fully support Bebop models again!

Fly to Discover lets you use your Parrot® Bebop, Bebop 2, FTD300X and Super300 in surprising ways:

- VOICE COMMANDS: fly your Bebop with your voice (coming soon)
- Available in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian
- Built-in 2D simulator to fly even when the weather won't allow it: get familiar with every feature without manuals and without needing the drone connected

have a pixel 10 pro XL, finally got connected to bebops wifi and sky controller is green, try to connect drone on fly app, immediately closed. I even used developer settings of USB port to no data, didn't work either. a waste of money and time.

Hi Jim, the SkyController2+Bebop2 crash on Android 16 is a confirmed bug in the current PlayStore build 1842. A fixed version is already on our Internal Testing track and a public 1.8.5 with the fix is being uploaded right now. Sorry for the bad experience, email me at stefano.russello@gmail.com if you want the link to join the test in the meantime

Continues to tell me to connect the aircraft through WiFi, even though my phone & the Bebop are connected. Through three test flights, the SkyController 2 will launch, the joysticks will control & land, but the FTD app is doing nothing aside from saying "Connected". Sure doesn't act like it. Even tried a short USB to USB-C connection from controller to phone, no joy. I wasted $8.00. Promises, promises. Fix your app or start refunds. This app probably should be taken off the Google Play store.

Hi Jeff, sorry for the trouble. The "connect via Wi‑Fi" loop on Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G was caused by a stale Wi‑Fi state we didn't detect. Version 1.8.2 rewrites that check and now recognises the Bebop network correctly. Please update FlyToDiscover from the Play Store and try again — should work straight away.

trying to get this app to work with my Bebop 2 drone. I can connect to the drone wifi but the app still doesn't work. also doesn't seem to recognize my drone controller when connected to USB. I guess my Bebop 2 dreams are dead.

Hi Tim, the "connected to drone Wi-Fi but app won't link" bug was fixed in 1.8.2 (root cause: mDNS discovery on Android 13+). Please update and retry on your Nothing Phone (3a) Pro — should work now. Sorry for the trouble!

What’s new

Version 1.8.6.
- Fixed the "Location permission required" popup that kept blocking Bebop 2 and SkyController 2 on Samsung/Pixel with Android 13+ even when permission was granted.
- Rewrote the "Drone not found" help + added a tip about the "Charging only" USB default that hides the SkyController 2 from the app.
- Fixed a memory crash during flight on some Samsung/Xiaomi devices.
Thanks to the testers who reported these.
