Fantastic! The only thing not made clear is that you need to use the fonus software for texting and calling - you can't use your own apps or the native apps for that. Once you accept that, it's a great service! So far it's worked for me perfectly. Bonus points because this is a fully data based service - th8s means if you've got Wi-Fi, your phone and sms will work. Literally in any country globally. Highly recommend, and I'm moving my whole family over to fonus.

As a fonus customer since almost day one my views on it has changed. The data service is excellent, but, the app hasn't had a proper update in over a year and has plenty of issues - after a month or so auto logs off and you loose all text history - sometimes incoming and outgoing calls don't work until you restart - not recognized as a "phone app" in android so you need to manually copy numbers etc - other minor bugs in the app Until these are fixed, 1 star for great data and that's it.

The app sucks but the service is ok. Let's start with what is wrong with the app. You can't make this the default phone and messaging app so links always open the default apps. It doesn't work with Google assistant, so no voice commands. You also can't do really simple things like paste a phone number into the dialer, you have to memorize the number. I would much prefer if fonus found a way of routing calls and texts to the native apps, or making a dedicated phone, messaging, and service app
