Payments and Renewal

Payment will be charged to your Google Play Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or turn off auto-renew in your Account settings at any time after purchase. You can cancel the current subscription during the active period but will not receive a refund.

Ratings and reviews

Good points: the product database and scanner. Bad points: - back key doesn't work - it just exits the app - search is awful, requiring you to guess the exact name of a product - no explanation when it says "unsuitable for you" - why, especially if the label does not mention relevant allergens? - generally laggy - on another device, it's constantly logging me out Was this vibe coded?

the scanner is reasonably good and has a decent list of foods to scan. however the biggest issue I have is I am forced to log in every time I use it. doesn't store passwords and even my password manager can't access the app so I manually have to type it in. when I am on a site and want to scan something I can't be bothered to sign in while stood in an idle. needs a major overhaul.

For a paid for app, this is really disappointing. Often have trouble scanning products, need to do it several before it gets a result, often not knowing if the item is in the database or not. Right now you can't get anything from the DB as they update it, which seems ridiculous, the current DB should be available and updates/changes pushed out to production when ready so users can use the feature. And it's not just out for a couple days, I think we're nearly 2 weeks into it.
