Does not live up to potential Reinstalled after a couple of years on a new phone. User experience has remained noticeably unchanged (unimproved) since then. No in-app support capability, some features (hide place, most specifically) do not function, no option to report closed establishments. I loved this app at its inception, but it's been three years with minimal effort on the development side. Such a shame.
Love the idea but lots of room to improve App is just not as slick as food blogging experience should be. Feels like a slow mobile website rather than a proper app. FoodSpotting, you have a lot of fans (me included), and your fans deserve better.
Good concept, zero execution It's just another mobile site disguised as an app. An app that sucks. Saw some burger king fries. Tried to use "map" but scanning constantly moved the map away from where I started scanning. Pointless after seeing all that, but 3 stars for having actual and accurate pictures of food in restaurants nearby. A picture is worth a thousand words after all!
Good but Could do way better This app is never improved by new updates. There is no bugs but need so much improvement like for the restaurant location directory, Facebook posting tool with more info for each post
Nice concept but... WAY TOO MANY CHAIN RESTAURANTS AND FAST FOOD CHAIN recommendations!! I'm in the suburbs. I don't need a chef's recommendation for a double double at on n' out burger or factory-cooked food at Chili's.
Cool idea but needs improvements Too much clutter on app with poor quality photos, no push notifications, dishes don't disappear (the same ones come up every time upon opening the app), unable to change profile photo on profile, can't edit posts already made, can't resize/crop photos during upload..
