Really great app aside from not allowing for fitness tracker integration. Purchased a year long subscription without realizing this. Would get a refund if possible due to this alone. Update: contacted customer service as the response to my review recommended I do never heard back. I cannot respond to the developers comment on my review, however, I still have not recieved the response email (could be a glitch in my email).
The app is a little weird, and difficult to navigate. I think the stock fitbit and myfitness pal food diaries are much better. I downloaded to see if it was easy to use and the functionality of the carb counter for my diabetic relative. Unfortunately the carb tracker is part of a "premium" package and requires a subscription.
This is a decent app. It is well made and easy to use. It keeps asking for location permission which gets annoying. I don't want it tracking me, thus the three star rating. In this day and age, people do not want to be tracked.
Wanted an app that tracks weight, this does not. Also, there are a lot of duplication of the same food to sort through.
I like the is app, it is ok but not really for my diet needs. I am doing Organic and Non-gmo and I scan those products and they have a C rating and then I will look at alternatives and they have foods with GMO's, additives and preservatives with a higher grade, which is fine I guess if that is your diet needs. This however is a great idea, and if it meet my needs I may have purchased.
For now, I'm using it merely to track food intake and weight. Love the detail and catalog of foods, scanner ability and user submitted content. This app is great and I can't wait to dive into it further!
