I have had 2 other Ford hybrids/PIH using this app and worked very well over the years however on my new PIH app hasn't been able to sync or connect to my vehicle over the last 3 months. I was instructed to have the modem check which I have been told is working fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times still no connection, won't update!!
The app has kicked me out, won't send password reset to phone or email. Won't let me reregister with same phone number. So frustrating! Will ask dealer to assist getting customer service.
Complete waste of time! Keeps saying incorrect password so I clicked on forgot password button was emailed new password and that does exactly the same! Come on Ford you should do better than this! Uninstalling!
It only works once then it fails and customer service is always closed. No functional password reset and it does not remember you. This is a stress creation app.
I have to reconnect the car on a weekly basis, sometimes more. Nothing more disappointing than checking to see what % the charge is at, to see that the car needs to be registered again. Value charging never works, it doesn't matter what times you set.
I do like the app, but it does not keep accurate records. Drove over 800 miles and it recorded 530. Had over 4,000 miles on one tank of gas and it only recorded 2700. There are a lot of dropped travel logs since I purchased my car. Overall, the Ford Fusion Energi is great and the app is okay. At least the remote start and door lock features work well.
