Really not a fan of this new update. There's too much going on and it's missing some information that I liked from the previous version. I enjoyed seeing how many more/less steps I took than the previous week/month, same for sleep. I don't see this information in the new update. The previous update showed day/week/month all on one screen that you could scroll through. I dislike the dropdown menu.
Really like my Nate Q but not the latest app and function right now. Update: 2017-10-20 - New update today all problem fixed! Great! My Nate Q are back in business! 2017-10-17 - Ok Fossil Q Legacy does not work anymore! This is fine but could been a workaround for my issue below. - Individual contact notification works. - All Incoming Call or Text notification works. - General app like Gmail, slack, WhatsApp, Messenger DOES NOT work anymore! Fix please or tell me how to fix it.
The old version of the app was fairly good but a bit confusing. The new one is probably easier to navigate, but has removed useful information. Why take away the chart of light and deep sleep? Presumably the data is still locked away somewhere.
Updated review. New version's UI seems nice but has too many kissy faces from Kristen Bell. Infact I don't want Kristen Bell on this at all the orange and white was fine as it was... I also don't like the product adverts on the bottom of the homescreen. More Importantly, I can't change my watch buttons because it says i don't have an internet connection. I tried to clear cache and reinstalling the app. No luck...
Ive had my hybrid smartwatch for only about 3 weeks now, and was so so so happy with it. But now im not receiving my notifications, as that was the reason I got the watch in the first place. Now i just realized, it must be the new app update thats causing the notifications not to work. This defeats the whole purpose i bought the watch, and now im so frustrated. Hopefully it will go back to normal... also, as the other reviews mentioned, it is killing my battery too. My Samsung S7 was even giving me notifications that its draining my battery, and there have been many force stops- this has never happened before. Please go back to old version of the app!!
New app looks nice but Holy moly it's a battery hog. I unpluged my phone at 8am. It's now 2pm, and the app has used 26% of my battery! I've been at work, and not using my phone? Please sort this out ASAP!
