I am a pilot and installing TWO Midland XTC400 cameras on the exterior of my airplane (belly mount and wing strut mount). As a single camera and recording (I used it on helmet to capture Zip-lining, worked fantastic. Now, with TWO xtc400s with WI-FI turned ON how do I start "XTC #1" recording and then go over to "XTC #2" and start it recording same time. I'm needing them BOTH recording in flight to capture the flight, different angles of view. I have an Ipad I'm doing this from. REPLY HERE IF YOU'VE DONE THIS OR KNOW HOW.
Note 3 and xtc 400 I have the note 3 with the xtc400. Every time I start the program it links and starts to play well together. Then within about a minute the wifi goes out and I loose connection. Now auto select is turned off on wifi and so is auto scan for that matter all other wifi connections are turn off in my house and still disconnects. Anyone have a fix?
Works well for what it does No problem connecting on wifi to phone. The app works well with plenty of setup options. Is there an equivalent app available for the pc? On the down side, it's a bit of a bummer that it has to stop wifi in order to record. Has anyone compared this with the Liquid Image equivalent app?
Needs Updated It can be a pain to get connected to your device, and when you do, chances are you'll only be able to change some settings. On newer devices, if you launch the preview, it'll just crash. I got it to work on an old GS4 I stopped using after the screen shattered. Would have been nice to use a newer device to get a preview while mounting the camera to my helmet.
Not working for a Note 4. Running 4.4.2 It connects and all but once I try to record it automatically closes the app... It is irritating considering I have done everything on the book... Although it works on the iPad but not on the Note 4
Frustrating This app does not work at all for me when I try to use with with an XTC 450. Repeated calls to Midland do not help. They just say, "I's in the manual." Ha. The manual doesn't even tell you what app to use. Camera works great, but camera and app do not.
