It was good So i have an unlimited plan with Sprint on my samsung galaxy s6.. but all this time i thought i was using my unlimited data. I just started receiving emails that I'm almost reaching my hotspot limit since my plan comes with 3GB of hotspot... i dont think this is worth it anymore, i tried doing all the steps too and refunded my money since it didn't make a difference whole i was testing it out with the free one... unless someone can help me
Have tried many many apps/solutions for enabling my phone as a hotspot, including rooting and digging around in system files. This app does what i was looking for perfectly, and didn't require any effort except the PC program installation. If you're looking to get internet from a device that has hotspot disabled, or otherwise does not support tethering, this app is definitely worth trying. Also has a free version, which I tested on my phone before buying. good luck
BEST WIFI HOTSPOT By far surpasses any of the bs 'hotspots' available in the app store. I've been through ALL of them. None of them work, or they're full of ads every click of the way. NONE have compared in connectivity, user friendly interface, straight forward terms, no crazy or aggressive ad campaigns, and great customer service. Can't get any better. Thanks for making such a great app available to bypass the big multi billionaire communications corporations that never give anything back to humanity.
Great but doesn't work on ST phone Used this app to flawlessly hotspot my Verizon s4 that's switched to straight talk. It was so good my son could get full wifi signal from 100 feet away. I bought a s7 through straight talk and Fox fi won't work with it. ST disabled the hotspot in the settings and while foxfi will let you enable hotspot, something from ST is preventing ip address from being distributed so any phone trying to connect will never fully connect. Besides that, it's an amazing app for phones not sold by straight talk.
Best app ever! I tether a tablet to a dedicated laptop which runs a proxy server. The Local Ethernet Port is crossed over to the WAN side of a wireless router. All the devices in my home are ether hardwired or connected wireless to the router. Does not count against your Hot Spot usage. I ran a version of this setup back in 08' and would often go over 100 gig. I highly recommend it. However, simple USB tethering is good enough for most.
IT WORKS GREAT WHEN TETHERED THROUGH USB! IT DOESN'T EAT AT MY HOTSPOT DATA, BUT USES MY PHONE'S LTE (and i have unlimited LTE). The hot spot feature does not hide usage. It will eat at your HOTSPOT DATA as your regular hotspot feature on your phone does. It's worth the buy for sure and is very convenient. I would like to see the free hotspot feature enabled for buyers of this product. I have no wifi in my apartment, but tethering to my laptop is very convenient. I can HDMI to my TV and enjoy movies and whatnot freely. Pretty dope nonetheless.
Bug fixing updates.
Finding and connecting securely to XFINITY WiFi hotspots has never been easier.
