AI integration? That's a definitive no for me. I'm not taking the risk of unknowingly feeding my most private information (eg health data) […] Edit 1: can't find a good alternative, still using but with zero networking rights. Edit 2: Thx devs for the settings tip! I also could remove the "connect to your account" bubble.

There is around one decade or more I use Foxit reader on my computer and smartphone. I use it mainly because of its editing tools (drawing, comments, etc). However the last update even if it allows me to highlight texts, it does not allow me anymore to reduce or increase the highlighted region. I have to delete it, and highlight again.

Overall a bad choice. * The rendering engine is slower than the Google viewer (which has no spam) * The functions beyong Google PDF viewer require registration * The compression function is hit and miss, probably recycling some open source engine instead of working a new one (a badly made 40Mb file can become 64Mb) * Even when having the 7 day free trial the spam is going to be on the screen for your viewing pleasure * Finally a mediocre app offering to track you and your documents.
