Love it, it's good for smart people Great application, love the interface, love everything it does for me. Unfortunately, the information buttons next to each toggle item are not filled in. If you're smart, or can Google, it's no big deal to learn what each item does. I'm not smart though. That doesn't matter, this wasn't built with just me in mind. These are my nit-picky issues... Essentially non-issues for smart people. Guess I need to get some learnin' done.
The app is functional and well laid-out, so I'll give it a five star rating, yet I'll say that I do regret my decision to purchase the app. I didn't buy it because it was the best kernel management application, but to support the developer of this kernel. Since purchasing it, my Nexus 6 has received only one minor kernel update. While it is understandable that a developer has other commitments and that this may not be his main source of income, this developer has gained thousands of dollars in donations and application purchases, all provided with the aim of supporting him as he develops his kernel. Because of the developer's refusal to provide any timeline, I was ill-informed when purchasing this application as I'd assume many others were, and would appreciate if the developer were to either formally commit to future, frequent updates, or refund those who donated to support what was, at the time of their donation, an abandoned project. Please do not take my rating the wrong way, and understand that I am appreciative of the work you have already put into to into this project, but would very much like to know if this work is to continue. Thank you for your time and for this app.
Very cool BUT It is indeed a very cool kernel, draining almost no power when phone is sleeping (after tinkering a little with undervolting the frequencies). I am very pleased by this kernel, that's why I bought the pro app to support the dev. BUT a feature that is missing is that is doesn't allow you (talking about the kernel) to create swap file for RAM boosting. That would be cool to see!
Excellent. Have a feature request Hey Franco, still really pleased with your new update. You fixed Kernel compatibility with ElementalX and for that I give you 5 stars. I just wanted to quickly suggest a feature that might hopefully make it in a future release: screen off CPU frequency. This would really be useful for battery enthusiasts and adds more flexibility to your app. Other than that, good job man! :) --*EDIT*-- Path? If you can tell me how to do that I'll happily send it to you. Regarding FK, I think your idea would work great :D
I like the application, but I noticed that with the most recent update my min and max CPU frequencies keep changing. This didn't happen before, so you should watch out for this. Otherwise, this updater does a great job of helping the user install and modify their kernel. using the app on a nexus 6 running marshmallow EDIT: revising my review from 4 star to 5 star. I used root adiutor to disable MPDecision. looks like that took care of the issue
I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of updates to the One Plus One over the last few months. I realize the dev is busy with another project but, it has been months since the last update and you can not use the latest builds of CM 12.
