About this app

This app connects you with your Tertill Garden Weeding Robot.

Tertill is a solar-powered weeding robot that lives in your garden and weeds intermittently for a total of 1-2 hours every day. Its specially designed wheels churn up the top layer of soil preventing most weeds from sprouting. If any weeds do grow, Tertill chops them down with its string trimmer.

This app uses Bluetooth to connect to the robot and allows you to see realtime data and update Tertill's firmware.

Version 1.6.6 is included in this release, featuring the following changes:
* Runs 10 minutes after a button press
* Improved stall detection behavior
* Improved charging performance
* Improved behavior when robot is fully surrounded by obstacles
* Tilt sensing threshold increased to 22 degrees
* Added self-test behavior
* Internal testing improvements

Doesn't work at all. Doesn't find the device. Tried on two different android devices. I had to go back to an old Samsung s7 to get it to work. Sucks I can't use on my primary phone. Also why is this not hooked up through wifi. Bluetooth is so limiting. Contacted Tech support have not heard back.

Apart from firmware updates this app has no value. Would like to be able to tell status of Tertill at all times. Would also like to be able to turn off/on via the app. Additionally would like app to alert with error messages ( Tertill stuck, for example). Perhaps in subsequent updates 8ver time?

Love Tertill when it works, but the app isn't very useful. Hoping future versions of Tertill will save a log of activity/errors for viewing in the app (for troubleshooting) and allow adjustment of the plant sensor through the app. Currently using Tertill to manage an unplanted area, any errors in Tertill cause weeds to grow just tall enough to trigger the sensor and would like to be able to override that sensor for specific uses.
