I loved this app...until the notification headlines began showing up in all caps in March 2025. In this high-stress climate of news media, I have detached from the loud and obnoxious news sources/apps. Local news was a kinder, more gentle way of staying up to date about events I care about. When the app notification headlines switched to all caps, it felt like the app was YELLING at me and I can't have that. I am deleting this app and seeking news elsewhere.

Hate the constant loop/repeats. News is minimal, most always two, three days late, and never complete; way too much of "this is an ongoing story"... checkling back very rarely finds a wrap up. Lots of 'hype' at the end of the daily cable News live broadcast, too bad that emphasis is carried thru to the app. So here we are now in mid October with NO improvement at all. While the other local station, channel 34, provides weekday Covid numbers daily, we get nothing from 12. Pretty poor app!

For where I live, this is the most accurate news station, and the weather function is pretty accurate to no matter where you are (when traveling).
