Ratings and reviews

Been using it for the past 3-4 years now, works pretty fast, has good signal, and lets you connect to any country. Main cons being the sheer amount of intrusive and obnoxious ads flooding it, especially the ones that force open the app store. I understand the app needs to make money on the free version, but Christ. Not worth the hassle, disconnects way too often.

It's okay for the price (watching ads) but it is far too erratic to even consider paying real money. Sometimes it disconnects and you get to watch an ad or two to reconnect. Far worse is when it automatically reconnects. Why? Because it ignores your location choice and connects where it wants, which is inevitably my country, defeating the whole point. It still shows your selection though! You only get to see where it was really connected after hitting disconnect.

The sheer amount of advertisements they've been putting on this app lately makes it basically unusable. I understand the free version needs ads, and I don't mind ads at all. But good Lord, I can't even get to the homepage of the app without spending 2 minutes trying to skip through ads. Then there's another 2 minutes of ads after you connect. Then another 2 minutes when you disconnect. Come on guys. Absolutely no reason for the adds to be this obtrusive and obnoxious.
