It does what it says Turns on and off your data. It works I downloaded 9 other apps to turn my phones data off and this is the only one that actually worked. An to top it off this is the 1st 5 stars I've given a app and I've had android since 2009. Now if I could just get a keyboard that dosent suck.
The best for me For my needs, this is the best in its category. The best thing about it is that it is an app and not a widget. So it does not run in the background, and therefore more battery-friendly.The presence of confirmation dialog is also appreciable. Thanks a lot to the developer !
Worked great, till recent upgrade Great app, made necessary by removing from the cellular data button notification panel. But the provider defeated it with the recent upgrade. It no longer works :-) Hope the fix comes soon. Well it's not going to get fixed. ATT or Samsung or Google decided to disallow apps from changing the setting. They claim it's security. More likely they want people to burn more bandwidth and spend more money. Gettin' sleazy.
Works great until Lollipop A very handy fix for a design flaw of Google's. Unfortunately, in Lollipop, the design flaw persists, but the app no longer works :-(. I hope that the dev releases an update soon. If not, thanks for the (previously) handy tool.
What am I missing here?/Not suitable for tablets! "Turn on/off mobile network data with one click", it says. Did I miss the part that explains how to go about avoiding the second click that's required when that annoying confirmation box appears, before the data is switched on or off? How do I disable that, then? Also, as any tab user would have discovered, when I use my Galaxy Tab S in the usual landscape orientation, clicking the icon causes the display to flip to portrait mode till I click that bloody annoying 'OK' button. I think I'll just click the 'uninstall' button instead! Who do I send the bill to for my wasted time?
Where's the Icon?!? & No Change in Icon for Status I installed this app because I thought that it's exactly what I needed but I couldn't find the app icon. Then I realized that it's called something totally different than it is in the store. I would give the app 5 stars if you'd both fix that and have the icon change to show the status - whether the data is on or off.
Update for version 3 - Change the icon of the application.
Update for version 4 - Change the dialog text as suggestion from one of the users.
Update for version 4.1.1 - Change some wordings description.
