Is it really free basic service? If you are looking for free basic service as advertised by Freedompop you should be aware of few things. 1. Opt out of auto refil of data in settings, if you don't then it will ad $15 for 1gb. 2. Be aware that any applications you install may use your data even if you are on wifi. So, opt out of any automatic updates or sync. I installed Amazon underground and it ate 6gb of data costing me $85. Lesson learned. Google Play store will eat 22 mgb almost daily out of your free 500mgb even on wifi.
Great App!! This app works awesome if your phone is up and running. I would give it 5 stars if when you don't have service it worked as good. The other day my service was shut off for a day for non payment and I couldn't make any phone calls because it couldn't verify the wi fi I was using. Other than that it's a great app if you want to save on your minutes.
Only free for first month After a month they start charging you without any warning or any indication of what that money is being spent on. There's no way to delete your payment info either. Massive scam. Call quality is pretty poor too, but I wouldn't mind if it was actually free.
Don't like the catches... Don't like it, even when you on premier plan it will attempt to connect your calls through the internet first and couldn't disable that from settings. didn't like it, I wanted to close my account, they advise not to close your account as you will be charged!!? So you have to downgrade so I downgraded but they don't tell U that you have to: 1- remove the premium voice as that will be charged £3.99 per month. 2- you have to disable the auto top up! It would be better if it was £5 per month transparent charge!
You get what you pay for... If using it in a dual sim phone you can only override it and use your other number for 48 hours? Why have this ridiculous limit? Also it doesn't sync so remaining minutes, data, etc are meaningless and your have to check through the website.
Doesn't work on my Nexus 6p Sadly... I can install it... I can run it... but as soon as I try to dial out it crashes with a no network available. Tech support is non existent... just assume you're on your own. NOT for those who are not extremely tech savvy AND extremely patient.
