It stopped updating on 22nd June and I have sent feedback about this via the email address in "Send Feedback" within the app. Although I have had responses from them they haven't solved the problem and are now ignoring my emails. I see I'm not the only one with this problem. Just sort it out please
Nice idea. Doesn't work. So, all my other news apps (BBC, Sky etc.) update their content. Not so, the ES app. Despite pulling the screen down and the little wheel going round, it still thinks it's December 2016. Bizarre. And needs fixing.
Digital paper is poor, but rest of app ok. App is also a massive 23MB for some reason. Digital paper problems: Not designed for phone, landscape view smaller than portrait. Really slow to load - much time spent looking at blank white screen. In need of quality programmer to optimize.
I used to love this app, once upon a time. Now it does not update, at all. Everyday I try but to no avail. The only way to get the latest news is to uninstall and then reinstall. C'mon Evening Standard sort it out..
Used to use this back in the day on my blackberry and it was great. thought I'd try again and it's terrible. Takes ages to load articles, I suspect because of the incessant adverts that constantly are loading. Tried to use it for a day before uninstalling.
Doesnt update anymore - doesnt anyone care or read these comments? Hasn't updated now for five days. Just rubbish. Will uninstall very soon. Have emailed them and they just don't care
