About this app

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can check your glucose by scanning the sensor with your cell phone. FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor users can now get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and also receive alarms when their glucose is low or high. [1] [2]

You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:

* View your current glucose level reading, trend arrow and glucose level history
* Receive low or high glucose alarms with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2]
* Add notes to track your food, insulin use and exercise
* View reports such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family, with your permission [3]

COMPATIBILITY WITH SMARTPHONES
Compatibility may vary depending on the cell phone and operating system. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.

HOW TO USE THE APP AND THE READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be issued on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or on the cell phone (not both). To receive alarms on your cell phone, launch the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, start the sensor with the reader. After the sensor is started with the reader, you can also scan this sensor with your cell phone.

Remember that the app and the reader do not share data with each other. To obtain complete information about a device, scan the sensor every 8 hours with the device in question; otherwise, your reports will not include all the data. You can upload and view data from all your devices at LibreView.com.\

INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICATION
The FreeStyle LibreLink is intended to measure glucose levels in individuals with diabetes when used with the sensor. For more information on how to use FreeStyle LibreLink, see the User Manual, which can be accessed through the app. If you require a printed User Manual, please contact Abbott Diabetes Care Customer Support.

Consult a healthcare professional to confirm whether this product is right for you or if you have questions about using it to make treatment decisions.

[1] If you are using the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you will also need access to a glucose monitoring system, as the app does not provide such a system.

[2] The alarms you receive do not include a glucose reading and therefore you must scan the sensor to check your glucose.
