About this app

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. You can now monitor your glucose levels by scanning your sensor with your smartphone. FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor users can now get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and receive low or high glucose alarms. [1]

You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:

*view your current glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history
*receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors
*view reports including time spent in target range and daily trends
*share, with your consent, your data with your doctor and your family

USING YOUR APP AND YOUR READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can be played on either your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (but not both). You must start the sensor with the app to receive alarms on your phone. You must start the sensor with your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader to receive alarms on it. Once the sensor is started with the reader, you can also scan this sensor with your phone.

Reminder: the application and the reader do not share data with each other. To receive comprehensive information about a device, scan your sensor every 8 hours with that device. Without this, your reports will not reflect all the data. You can upload and view data from all your devices at LibreView.com.

overall pretty good app, on top of that it improves over time (the new feature making it optional to scan when Bluetooth is enabled is really enjoyable) ...which why I BEG YOU to implement a tiny little thing that'd change everything: a widget showing the sugar level without having to open the app. If it was even possible to make it appear on the lock screen, mama... Thanks for the app anyway.

Constantly complains that alarms are disabled on phone when they work perfectly. I've enabled all the permissions and the alarms work fine but it still alerts me all day long to enable them. This is a real nuisance. UPDATE: I called the support number as requested but they couldn't help with this issue and agreed that it seems that the app just doesn't detect that the alarms and notifications are in fact activated on the Pixel 3a.

The freestyle cgm system is life changing but this app is unstable and buggy on my OnePlus 7. For those who have had problems with being signed out, and unable to share data with their freeview account (and doctor), there is a battery optimization option within the application settings accessible via your Android os (somewhere in settings->app settings) which breaks the application when it automatically and unpredictability decides to reduce battery consumption.
