BEFORE STARTING YOUR SENSOR

Before you start your Sensor, choose which device you would like to use.

Alarms and glucose readings can only be received on your phone or your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader (cannot be both). [1]

To receive alarms and glucose readings on your phone, you must start the Sensor with the FreeStyle Libre 2 app.

To receive alarms and glucose readings on your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader, you must start the Sensor with your Reader.

Note that the FreeStyle Libre 2 app and Reader do not share data with each other. For complete information on a device, scan your Sensor every 8 hours with that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all your data. You can upload and view data from all of your devices on LibreView.com.

APP INFORMATION

The FreeStyle Libre 2 app is meant for measuring glucose levels in people with diabetes when used with a FreeStyle Libre 2 Sensor. For more information on using the app, refer to the User’s Manual, accessible through the app.

If you are using the app, you must also have access to a blood glucose monitoring system as the app does not provide one.

Mixed feelings. Initial pairing with sensor was quick and simple. For the first 24-48h things were good with rare lost connection when was out of range of my phone. Since then, even with my phone in my pocket, will repeatedly lose connection and have to rescan sensor, usually taking multiple attempts to connect. Annoying to say the least. If could get the connection to be more stable, would have been a 5/5 experience.

These sensors continually lose signal. You can get a reading if you scan but it quickly loses signal again. Alarms stop working when signal is lost. They used to work better before they updated sensor to provide automatic scanning. There is definitely a glitch of some kind. It's not just 1 sensor but all of them. I use a pixel 6a phone with lastest updates. Ps: I turned Bluetooth off then back on. It seems to be working at the moment but will update if that changes. PSS: still working

Was good. Not now. Longer wait times navigating menus (i.e. from log book to home (because data accumulation in the app that slows the app?) Many "wait 10 minutes try again" msgs when attempting to scan & signal lost. Seems OS compatability recently changed. We're supposed to figure this out by process of elimination: call customer service to be told app may no longer be supported. No notification. On a newer phone. The system is too glitchy, almost unreliable, about something so important.
