Worked great when u first tried it. Now it creates massive traffic on my home wifi network. So no one else gets any. And it claims it never completes connection. Even though Android thinks it is (has the key icon lit). Could be an Android Oreo issue. But I'm just going to go with Tunnelbear. They're trustworthy and have a ton of free stuff.
It's good, it does its work and also very quick response from the team when I was having issues with SoundCloud, Spotify and Deezer. One thing I don't like at all is that it asks me every time to give it permission to my photos, media and contacts, why you need those for???
I like it when I used the free version in China so I decided to give it another try to purchase one month premium. Once I paid, it never successfully connected to any sever again. It keeps looking. I have to use a free Chinese VPN to write this review. Really disappointed. Supposed to get better quality VPN but I have a dead VPN app now.
What happened? This app used to be amazing but now they place ads in your phone even when you're NOT USING THE VPN! This is disgraceful and I advise everyone to look elsewhere for a VPN.
Doesn't even work, and there is no way to cancel a subscription/ free trial. Not on their website, or their app. I even contacted customer service, and they said there was no record of my card in their system. Well come today they charged me $11.99. After doing more digging, I STILL can't find an option to cancel my subscription. I will be going to my bank this week and telling them to deny any future charges from this service.
I paid for a year of service. It refused to work unless I reinstalled between uses. And now it forgot my subscription altogether after less than 2 months. Wow. Paid nearly $50 and got nothing. Sweet.
