I use to features of freshbooks: invoices and time tracking. While the new app is very sleek and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes next, it doesn't have time tracking and the invoices system doesn't let me populate a new invoice with the time I've already tracked. I hope to be increasing this review to a 4 or 5 once the time tracking system has been reimplemented. UPDATE 2/8: they have added time logging, but not a track button (no automatic time tracking, just inputting lumps of time manually). I've increased rating from 2 to 3, and I'm eagerly waiting for actual time tracking to be reimplemented.
Why take away functionality such as time tracking? This IS basically one of the main reasons I enjoy this product. Also, I am on wifi at home and this app feels like it tried to crash my phone. Took forever and froze my phone for a good 5-10 sec when just transitioning between bottom navigation. I love new updates that help streamline my billable life, but this is a huge step in the wrong direction. ***My warning*** Do not update to use this new version just yet!
The app as of January 25 has expense tracking and allows pic of receipts and categories. There is now time tracking too and is easy to add time increments for clients. Client list and invoicing also viewable but limited. I'm sure they are adding more but that's current update
Thank you for finally adding/turning on time logging. Critical to me and as I've read, others too. A must have option. Now let's see how it'll work and what other general improvements you've added...to be continued. Feb.15th update: For my needs and what you get for $25 per month, the slow progress to address issues/updating with the Android and/our how it works compared to the Web version, I've moved to another solution (begins with the letter Z). Paying $10 per month cheaper with a vast selection of options to tweak to my liking/business and invoicing needs. It was OK while it lasted, but FB is just another pretty app with neutered functionality for me. I'm leaving the 4 star rating because for what it does, it does well, just too limiting & slow to address user concerns amongst other feedback given directly to support for my use/taste. Cheerio.
It is not near as easy to use as the previous version, and lost functionality (for example: I can not add a discount to a total, and I cannot edit my profile either)
