An effective app to allow remote use of the Freshdesk system, if you can't get on the desktop.
Could do with more information displayed on-screen at any given time for larger screens. An example would be replying to a ticket, seeing the customers previous message while typing a response would be helpful.
Overall the app has a decent layout. But the likelyhood of receiving calls is hit or miss (more miss than hit). Out of 10 calls, you're lucky to receive 4 on the app, and yes I have done all the preliminary steps to ensure it isn't my phone. This isn't only an issue with Android, iOS also has this problem (and worse). Same goes with chats-- what are they? Beats me, this app doesn't seem to work with taking chats. So there goes 2/3 services freshdesk offers that are half-baked. I guess for posting updates in tickets will suffice for some, but for a lot of us, this needs to be redone. Oh yeah, when receiving a call, it actually does it thru the app, so the sensor doesn't work, so you're taking a chance putting your phone up to your face, as it can also hang up the call while mid call. Based off FD history, it seems that they make a lot of empty promises and don't follow through until it's completely forgotten.
It's ok but I am looking for when job has been done en then there's a part where the client or customer has to sign off..
