About this app

Wake up to the sound of nature with the Woodland Alarm Clock. Rise gently to a Northern Cardinal's cheerful song, the sound of gently falling rain, or a Canadian Loon's otherworldly wail. Or, become wide awake to the punctuated territorial calls of the Pileated Woodpecker.

A woodland scene of your choice slowly brightens, simulating a transition from night to day. Meanwhile the bird song gradually intensifies, bringing you reliably to wakefulness without a startling jolt.

- 25 alarm tones of birdsongs and other nature sounds, some loud, some soft
- 45 pictures of beautiful forest scenery
- Check your next alarm at-a-glance with optional Widgets and Notifications
- Wake-up light alarm simulates the morning sunrise

Dozens of bird songs and backgrounds are included, but if you want, you can choose music and pictures from your own media library.

- Learn to identify common birds by song
- Experience the sights and sounds of nature when you're stuck indoors
- Cats and dogs love it!

All photographs were taken by the author, and most are taken in Minnesota parks.

it's a nice app. The only thing that it doesn't do is put your specific background picture when the alarm goes off. On my phone it is just a black screen. Everything is updated It is just the background never works. this will get five stars if this ever gets fixed. But due to the fact I've had this alarm app for several years and it's never been fixed, sadly I'm not holding my breath:(

I love this app, I've been using it for several years. It works great on my android, I've never had a technical issue. Funny stories- Whenever I visit my relatives in Virginia, the chickadees outside always freak me out, I keep thinking it's my alarm. We don't have chickadees in SoCal, I guess, so I'm not used to hearing them. Also, whenever anyone else hears my alarm for the first or fiftieth time, they always think there's a bird in the house. I would be willing to purchase to remove ads, plz!

Seems now that if you miss turning off the alarms, it breaks them and they become unreliable. I'm going to delete and re-download to see if they work again, but if it happens again, I'll have to find another app. My phone is always 100% charged when I use these alarms in the mornings, so battery saver has no effect on it, as it isn't on at that time.

Thanks for letting me know. I'd suggest turning off battery optimization, since some models of phones will try to 'save power' by killing the background service that holds the alarm. The service itself doesn't do any background work; it just holds the alarms in memory. Please let me know if this helps!
