The Android app needs work. It is balky, painfully slow to scroll and closed captioning (CC) simply does not work. Almost worse, when I stop casting (Chromecast) it then continues streaming to the phone, which is illogical and unlike any other streaming service. Been patient waiting for improvements. I only have Frndly to DVR the Movies! channel, which I already get off my antenna, and I already have Hulu for TCM. So, might have to make a difficult decision soon.

Update: did updates and still doesn't work correctly. Even more annoying they send out a new update every couple days, required to do to watch. Used to work great but now it wants me to update it before I can use it almost once a week and then when I'm watching a recorded movie it almost never saves where I left off so I have to remember what time I was at the get back to the place I left off. Very frustrating. Wish it was better since I enjoy having access to good christian movies and shows.

Updates to apps are usually meant to fix minor errors in the background to improve your viewing experience, but it sounds like something else might be going on here. I've loved this app for a long time. But I am recently having stuff I know for sure that I recorded, get deleted. I am paying extra for my subscription just to have the stuff I wanted suddenly not available when I have time to watch it a week or two later after I recorded it. And then if I choose to watch something while it's live airing, I end up getting kicked out half way through and can't get back to the spot I was at within the same evening.

Hi Sharin, we are sorry to hear about any problems you're having with your recordings or with picking up where you left off. Other than expiring (3 months for Classic plans, 9 for Premium), your recordings should not be removed unless you manually delete them.
