Loved the original. I have to say, when I learned that Frogmind partnered with Cheetah Mobile, I was pretty skeptical. But it turns out to be a great game. Somehow it manages to be better than the original (an amazing feat on its own), yet I can still play the original and it's just as awesome. Idk, but I won't complain. Yes, there are lots of ads. Even more than the original. However, the game is good enough that most people will deal with it. Me, I purchased ad-free and haven't looked back. Totally worth it. HOWEVER, the original Badland had Flow mode, which this is missing. I need that. Also, a way to disable those powerup screens would be fantastic. There's something to work on.

Way too many adds and you don't go back to checkpoints like in the previous game. The gameplay is amazing and there are more interesting features than Frogminds's original Badlands, but the focus on constant adds and in-app purchases kind of ruins the game. It just doesn't feel playable.
Gameplay is superb same as the old Badland, Now you have to use 2 thumb of the new Badland 2 Sound work were great. Things I don't like. Advertisement after each level, which you can't skip. Levels were made short. Like you can complete it within 2 min. For saving the checkpoint you must be online, or you can say you are forced to be online. Seriously advertisement will make you sick
This game is great... beautiful graphics, enjoyable atmosphere, and the levels are really interesting... unfortunately, this game is held back by all these Ads that play after every single level. It's incredibly annoying having to watch these Ads about games that I don't even care about (looking at you mobile strike). Please move down the amount of Ads that play throughout the game.
Way too many ads, I know you have to run this app, but getting an ad every time you do something is crazy! And these are 30 seconds to a minute long! Every one or two minutes you're forced to sit through an ad. The gameplay is great! But too many ads! #adlands
WAY too many ads, every few seconds another ad pops up, if you choose to skip the "skippable" ad, you "miss out on your reward" which basically just punishes you by making you watch ANOTHER TWICE as long ad which you can't skip, this happens between EVERY level change. gameplay's good but definitely not worth the hassle.
I love badland and was waiting for this to come out but I hate it, there is no option to skip and now I can't move forward because I can't get through a level. They should at least make it to where you can buy skips because I would be willing to pay for this. So sorry I purchased this game if I knew it was going to be this difficult and with no skips, like they have in the original badland, then I wouldn't have wasted my money I guess that I am at a loss because I am uninstalling

Hello dear player, we have fixed the problem of premium account in the latest build 1029, please update. Sorry for the inconvenience caused,thank you for your understanding! The first one was soo good, with love put in every detail. In this one too, but they just put way too many ads. I mean, I understand that developers also need money for living, but an ad after every death and after every level is just too much for me. I guess I'll end up uninstalling it because of that.
I have had this video game for some while, and I can not get past the lasers in Level 22. I am not sure what to do. I wonder if you could use some of the rocks next to the portal, without getting stuck.
This app is driving me up the wall!!!! I hate this! Every time you select a level to play it says, " Upgrade to BADLAND 2 premium?" ( not a sentence) I select no and then I have to watch a long ad. I hit the X in the corner to stop the ad and it says' " Are you sure you want to forfeit your reward?" What is my reward!!!! This is stupid!! Every time I die it says Upgrade to BADLAND 2 premium ? I select no and another ad pops up. THIS SUCKS
Wayyyy to many ads. Seriously, each time you die they try to advertise their premium version (which is rediculously expensive for a mobile app) and have an ad for something else before you can retry. Absolutely kills the gameplay
Challenging and irritating are two different things. First game was challenging and exiting. But this is irritating me the more I play. Also when I comolete a difficult . Part of a lvl after dying so much. Another harderpart comes . And this dont even have checkpoints
Would have been a nice perfect sequel but has a fine habit of crashing every now and then, resetting progress back to zero. So.annoying and certainly a result of careless work..The crash I noticed happens when you hit the back button twice or thrice when exiting the game.
Disappointed. Even though I bought it, game still requires to to buy powers to meet simple achievements like slow time. I feel unlike the first badlands this one is rigged to pull in cash or screw you over in game.
This game has TOO MANY ads. It's ridiculously unbelievable. I don't understand how after every single game there is always going to be three ads and notification for u to buy something. Don't get it if u get annoyed very easily or don't have patience.
Up to 40 second ads. Also it fails to save inside levels because "no internet connection", which is not true. Sounds more like a way to make you buy into the premium version. Overall, good game but very poor playability in the free version. Another title ruined by Cheetah Mobile
The first game was absolutely amazing, it had mysterious backgrounds, long difficult (not to hard) levels, and music that fit in perfectly! It also had the perfect a amount of advertisements as this does not. After every level? Really?
I love Badlands, one of my favorite games, but every 5 seconds it asks if you want to buy premium, and giving me ads each time i press no. I've gotten 3 ads on one. Please, remove the ads, or at least not give out 30 second unskipabale ones
The most unusual game i've ever played #VomitMuch and while playing, I had the most awkward feeling when they were diced and grinded eventhough they're just clones in a game that isn't real... It's a complete horror living in a place like that but It seemed to me that the game has a lot of curiousity and adventure, The controls doesn't seem to be running smoothly or perhaps there's another way how to do it,. Idk
I must say, I am a little disappointed. The graphics, gameplay, and all the levels are amazing, but a big problem, in my opinion is the controls. I sorta like the concept of going backwards but the character is just hard to control... Badland 1's controls were way better. Also I play this game after I turn off my wifi so the only ad that pops up is the badland premium so no long videos! So play this game with no WiFi!
Please fix your game so check points work anyways cause I'm tired of being offered BADLAND Premium just so I can use check points. STOP TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO SPEND THEIR MONEY JUST TO USE CHECKPOINTS!!!!
Absolutely disgusted, a wonderful game ruined. When you start a level, there is a 30 second ad. When you die, a screen pops up asking if you want premium. If you click no thanks, you get another ad. After a while, it wouldn't let me me click no thanks, so to keep on playing I would have to click on my back button, which wouldn't save my checkpoints and makes me start all over again. Then, even tho I was clearly online, it would say that I was offline and not save my checkpoints. They are pretty much forcing premium onto you. If you aren't willing to spend $4 for a game (which I'm not), don't install. It won't be enjoyable. Also did I mention that you can't skip the ads? Try the game Evil Cogs, it's so much better.
Yeah, it looks nice, but there's not much innovation compared to the first. It's also glitchy af. For one thing, it keeps saying I'm offline, even tho I am not.
It always thinks I am not online when I play so it won't save my progress through a level. I know you're mad that won't give you any $, but pretending the game is free and then making your game suck for people willing to wait through ads is pretty lame. Also, very glitchy last level freezes all the time.
This game is great overall. However, I dont know if it's just me, but on the cube part in Blaze, my controls are super sensitive and I always run into the sticky stuff, making it impossible to beat in one try.
Awesome game!! But one thing.... I have a Sony Xperia Aqua M4 and sometimes the games crashes and kicks me out. Also the sounds of the game doesnt sound right making it sound like static or something. Please fix and I'll rate 5 stars!
I would love to see a level editor and check points because the levels are just to long and it gets frustrating after dying a lot and trying to get to tge place you died but it just takes to long witg out a checkpoint like in the first version of this game
Way to many adds for the free version. Every single time I die, I see a pop up saying "Buy Badland 2 Premium?" Over and over again. Other than that, this game is amazing!
I absolutely loved Badland 1!! But the second one isn't as good. The checkpoints don't work so I have to restart the whole level. If that gets fixed then I'll install it back again.
Respawn not always functional, forcing you to start all over and I don't want to pay for it if this glitch remains. Please fix and when it works 100%, I'll consider purchase!
Great potential ruined by insane amount of ads. This game really looks beautiful, and the gameplay is also great, but to watch ad every single time you complete level, or want to start new one.. Ridiculous..
Game is brilliant and ok it free so expect few ads but after level 5 it's ad after ad every level and not sort ad either come on i get u need ad to pay for app but after every level really makes the game no fun
Too many ads. Requires ads to simply play. Old one was much better. This one has been milked too much because of the damn ads so it sucks and I am pretty sure I will end up uninstalling it.
Part 1 was better because in this requires ads for checkpoint and ads is not showing after watching 2-3 ads it shows sees like u don't have internet connection, i wish i could give 5 Star but because of ads too much i can't give if u want to play this game u must have internet connection for checkpoints Part 1 was awesome Fix it please i like this game
I like the way they cheat people. Tells you it's free to play and gives too...oo..oo...o....o...o....many ads. You are bound to purchase the game to play. One more star for your cunning idea😠😠😠
