It's getting better. The issue with it asking for an update is fixed. The developers are very responsive. Still has some funny language. Also I have to close the app or I won't be able to get there start button to show on the log screen.
It tells me I cannot login until the app is updated but I am using the latest version.
The app won't let you login if it thinks it is out of date. Clearly the wrote a specific app version unto the app as the current version but didn't update it. Either set it to only accept versions above a certain amount or don't force updates! People especially shouldn't be penalized for updating!
The only reason I installed this was because of my company getting us into this 2 week challenge. Problem #1, I do multiple trips in a day (yesterday 4 rides) but I learned immediately that each time I upload the logs, it deletes previous rides for the day that were uploaded, that is a travesty. #2, gps tracking is terrible. I compared this to Strava, map my ride, google fit, and it undercounted by an average of 12%, the worst being this morning, where the other 3 calculated my ride to be between 23.5 and 23.8 miles, this app counted 19.1 miles. #3, really, why can't we see the mileage for each ride???, #4, why can't we upload gpx data from other apps? I don't want to run 2 apps to track my rides it's eating into my battery. Or perhaps even just get the data from one of the other apps? Addition: I have ONLY used this for work related commute trips, not leisure trips
Wanted to use it because I'm an active bike commuter and wanted to contribute to my team for the Challenge. But when I open the app I just get a "checking version" popup followed by an error message "CANNOT CONNECT TO SEVER! PLEASE CHECK YOUR DATA CONNECTION AND TRY AGAIN." If I click to clear that and put in my credentials, I just get the same "checking version" followed by identical error message when I hit LOGIN. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it (nope), clearing the cache and data from the app (nope), changing to different wifi (nope), changing to mobile data (nope). Completely non-functional for me. Rooted Verizon Samsung S5 (SM-G900V), Android 5.0, custom ROM.
Keeps crashing when trying to log. Also freezes so it either continues running or does not log at all.
Update Version 3.0:
- Users now can track log without authentication
- Improvement on GPS tracking
- Enhance performance and fix bugs
